Brian Lee is a flutist and teacher residing in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington DC. He has a wide-ranging background including solo, chamber, opera, musical theatre, and orchestral performances, and has performed professionally as a flutist, singer, bassist, violist, pianist, and conductor. Teaching experience includes more than 20 years as a private studio teacher and five years in public school programs. His extensive musical and academic accomplishments – from teaching and performing, to advanced degrees in both performance and instructional systems design, to research and writing on music-related subjects – bring an ability to see cross-relationships between many different strands in the arts and humanities.
